These two books by British poet laureate Andrew Motion came in in quick succession. The UK editions offered nothing in the way of art or ideas for our covers, but illustrator Rachel Burgess had recently sent me a promotion piece featuring her evocative etchings. I liked them intensely and she was very generous in allowing us to choose two of them.
