The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s quarterly Bulletin presents a stiff series of challenges: strict limits on format and length, a tight schedule, and a tremendous amount of material to organize in a small scope. This one was no exception, with the added pressure  that the author, Xavier F. Salomon, was about to leave The Met for a new position at the Frick Collection. The short production schedule meant a lot of quick editorial changes and adjustments to the layout. Luckily, I am a great admirer of Goya, so I never tired of reworking the pages. Set in Monotype Ehrhardt, with Waters Titling.
