Andrea’s second book with Godine, this one a classic alphabet drawn from her love of gardening. The illustrations were created as black papercuts, which the artist had made into relief printing plates. The resulting prints were then hand-colored. Set in Frederic Goudy’s Deepdene type, which harmonizes nicely with the charming images.
